Founder Score Guide
Pitch Scores Explained
Your AI practice review and your competition review are separate. A deck upload is not an automatic score.
01 · AI Practice
An Overall Score, Not a Weighted Formula
1–10
A whole-number assessment generated by the AI coach. Text that is not a pitch can receive 0.
The coach reviews the pitch summary you submit and returns an overall assessment, a one-sentence score justification, a first impression, strengths, and actionable improvements.
Feedback can address clarity, problem–solution fit, market size, traction, business model and your investment ask. These are feedback topics—not separately scored categories. There are no fixed percentage weights, category totals or published score-band thresholds in the current coach.
The score reflects the submitted text, not independently verified company facts. AI assessments can vary between reviews and may be imperfect; read the justification and improvements alongside the number.
02 · Pitch Deck
What Happens After Upload?
Submit Your Deck
Your deck is attached privately to your application for the event team to review. Uploading a file does not run the AI coach.
Request AI Feedback
Submit your pitch summary to the AI Pitch Coach. Sign in before requesting feedback to save the review and score to your account.
Await Panel Review
Authorized reviewers assess your application and deck separately. An AI practice score does not determine selection.
03 · Human Judging
Panel Scores Stay Separate
Each authorized reviewer records one whole-number score from 1 to 10 per application and private notes. Updating a review replaces that reviewer’s previous score; it does not add another vote.
The panel average is the sum of recorded reviewer scores divided by the number of recorded reviews. An application with no reviews is unscored—not zero. The AI coach score is not included in this average.
Illustrative Example
(7 + 10) ÷ 2 = 8.5 / 10
Human scores and notes are private to the panel. Founders see their saved AI reviews and application status. Selection is recorded separately by the event team; there is no automatic selection cutoff.
